http://www.thaindian.com/newsportal/tag/baglihar-dam India however was allowed to construct storage reservoirs like this one but only for feasible energy production however the records say it provides India with rather excess energy!
As India is receiving more water then Pakistan so World bank should take some steps to provide equal amount of water to the both countries because Pakistan is facing energy crises.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kalabagh_DamThe dam project was controversial since its inception. In December 2005, General Pervez Musharraf, President of Pakistan, announced that he would build the dam in the larger interest of Pakistan. In May 26, 2008, Federal Minister for Water and Power of Pakistan, Raja Pervez Ashraf, said that the "Kalabagh Dam would not be constructed" and the project has been cancelled
Zeba and ZUbaria, i like your short and to the point remark. What do you think World Bank should do? yes it is true that it helped in the development of SCARp in Pakistan also but now what else? Do you have any suggestions?
